Raising children and dogs together is no joke.  But what was surprising (and helpful!) was just how much overlap there was what they all needed: safety, boundaries, support, protection, and play.  I quickly realized that to create a harmonious life, my dogs needed more than just traditional training. 

SO much of life happens outside of 'sit and stay'.

And I wasn't alone.  My clients, amazing (and overwhelmed) parents, were struggling and craving a simple system to navigate family dog life.

While clearly, dogs aren't kids, they are our dependents - and they are relying on us to get our part right.  

So much of our success lies in what WE do... not just what we ask of our dogs. 

We don't buy 'baby training' books when if we get pregnant - because we know that it's up to the grown ups to create the right environment for the baby to thrive.

And it's no different for our dogs. 

They land in an unfamiliar world, with zero idea how to navigate it.  So, they're counting on us to be a sturdy parenting figure, showing them how the world works - and teaching them the skills to get the best experience of it.
