My passion is making complex stuff easy
From being a TV Producer, and a mum to young kids, to a family dog specialist for over two decades, I've needed to flex the same muscle: creatively distilling the most ESSENTIAL information, in the most IMPACTFUL (and speedy!) way.
All the 'hats' that I've worn, over the years, have put me in a unique position to help busy people live their best life with their dog. But my biggest struggle: Wanting to teach my clients SO MUCH - often with only a small window to do it.
It all started when...
I had kids. I couldn't UNSEE the overlap: kids and dogs thrive on the same essentials: safety, protection, boundaries, support, sleep... and plenty of play.
The wild part: Dog books focus on training DOGS - but parenting books? They don't focus on training BABIES... They DIAL UP the PARENT's skillset.
And the penny dropped.
Dogs really need
a sturdy parent to show them how the world works - and to teach them the skills to get the best experience of it.
(Just like kids). And...

Clarity on HOW to be that amazing guide for their dog.

- In 2015, The Family Dog launched Stop The 77, an online dog safety campaign for families. Our mission is to educate parents and their kids everywhere on how to live safely and happily with the dogs they know and love AND lower the number of dog bites to children.
