By accessing this web site in any manner (automated or otherwise) and/or purchasing and/or utilizing any of the programs or materials available through The Family Dog, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use, our Privacy Policy, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and you should not purchase any of our programs or utilize any of our materials. The materials contained in this website are protected by all applicable Copyright and Trademark laws.

We reserve the right, at any time, to change or update the terms and conditions of this agreement without prior notice. Any and all changes will become effective immediately upon being posted. If You choose to use a live dog as part of any presentation using our materials or under any of our programs, You agree to ONLY bring a certified therapy dog tested and registered by a bona fide, reputable organization.
You will not hold yourself out as an owner of any of the materials licensed to You or as an employee, representative, or agent of The Family Dog.
At all times in presenting or training using any of our materials, You shall conduct Yourself as a professional and with professional courtesy.
If You are required to possess any license to conduct any activity using our materials, You shall obtain and maintain all such licenses at Your own cost at all times while using our materials.

Licenses and Subscription Materials

All material on The Family Dog family of websites, whether provided free or through a paid subscription, unless otherwise noted (such as, without limitation, material provided through a link to third-party resources), is proprietary to The Family Dog and should not be disseminated in any form in violation of these Terms and Conditions of Use. Free material provided herein is for personal and family use only and should never be included in any commercial or paid materials without the prior written consent of The Family Dog, or as otherwise noted in your paid subscription.

In addition to general website and free content, The Family Dog also provides subscription-based licenses to specific proprietary instructional packages as noted within each subscription level.

Public Facing Licenses:

The Dial Method®️ (both Classic and Families + Kids Edition), Pre-Puppy, and Code Red programs are each issued as single use licenses, meaning the material may only be used by the purchaser and must not be shared with other households.

Professional Licenses:

The Kid Dog Central summer camp program solo license allows only one professional to use the program per purchase; it may not be shared with additional professionals.
The Dog Safety Combo license is also limited to a single user to be presented to the public or in group settings and cannot be shared with other professionals.
The Become a Dial Guide license is a single use professional license that cannot be shared with others. It is based on a one-year contract paid monthly, and the number of permitted individual Dial Guide Licenses and number of client share licenses is determined by the tier purchased. Unused Dial Guide and share licenses do not rollover to the following membership year.

Company Licenses:

The Kid Dog Central for Training Schools is a company license that provides permission for up to three employees to teach the program with each purchase.
Full Circle (Partnership) licenses are considered multi-use or company licenses but may not be shared with other companies. These require a one-year contract paid monthly, and the number of included professional Become a Dial Guide licenses as well as public share licenses with clients is determined by the specific tier chosen. Unused share licenses do not rollover to the following membership year. Additional Dial Guide Licenses and public share licenses can be obtained separately. The company is the official licensee and must ensure that its staff members have the appropriate Dial Guide licensing. The Dial Method®️ may not be presented to the public unless a physical workbook is purchased for every attendee; these workbooks are available at a wholesale rate.

One-off Purchases:

The Dial Method®️physical books (wholesale purchases): Professionals looking to resell physical books as part of their training package, curriculum or retail store are prohibited from charging more than standard MSRP per book as listed below:

The Marketing Pack, Video Pack, Add-on Licenses, and Add-on Calls : these products are licensed exclusively for use by the original purchaser and must not be reproduced, resold, transferred, or distributed to others in any format, whether electronic or physical.
Use of one-off purchases is restricted to the specific purposes defined at purchase and must comply with The Family Dog’s program guidelines. Unauthorized use or sharing may result in immediate termination of access without refund and could lead to legal action if the terms of copyright or licensing are violated.
Other terms and restrictions, such as those on sharing and public presentation, apply equally to these one-off items .

All Licensees shall remain liable for the uses made by anyone under their License and are responsible for maintaining the security of their password and online account.

Nothing herein is intended or does, grant any right of ownership interest in or to The Family Dog website(s) or materials.

Each Licensee shall provide:

The purchase price for the level of subscription for the product/service offered by The Family Dog;
All equipment and services and associated fees necessary for their own internet connection and access;
All printing, handouts, and course materials and costs and expenses related thereto for any required or desired such materials; and
Software to view the elements of the course.

Licensees shall receive an account id and password. Licensees are responsible for protecting their private account information. Licensees agree to notify us immediately if a password has been lost or compromised in any way. Licensees will be held responsible for any and all activities that occur under their account whether authorized or not. The Licensee agrees not to share, resell, archive or make any commercial use of The Family Dog products or services unless expressly authorized to do so, and in that event, only to the limit so authorized. The Family Dog retains the exclusive right to modify or discontinue services at any time, or to update or modify products or materials at any time, and to alter subscription offerings and levels and inclusions at any time, without notice to the Licensee (except that any Licensee shall have access to at least the level of subscription paid for throughout the duration of the then term).

The Dial Method®️, I Speak Doggie, Dog Stars, Kid Dog Central, Pre-Puppy, Code Red, and Dial Guide Marketing Pack: Due to the immediate deliverable nature of these products, refunds are not available.

The Dial Method®️physical books (wholesale purchases): Purchases of The Dial Method®️ printed material at a wholesale rate are non-refundable.

The Dial Guide: Due to the immediate deliverable nature of this professional course, the setup fee is non-refundable. Dial Guide licensing is an annual contract that is billed monthly, with automatic renewal on your yearly anniversary. 30 days written notice prior to your annual renewal is required to terminate your license. Please email [email protected] to request termination or to downgrade membership.

Full Circle: Due to the immediate deliverable nature of this partnership program and professional course, the setup fee is non-refundable. Coaching Calls (includes Set for Success Calls, Community Access, Human & Family Legs) : Past session recordings are provided to all members immediately, therefore refunds are not eligible on prior months’ memberships or sessions that have already been completed.
